Amanda Swanburg

Hi, I’m Amanda, the photographer behind Telly Dez Photography. I’m a coffee enthusiast, a lover of long walks, and someone who thrives in a little bit of chaos. I’m also a mom to two wild and wonderful girls, Telly and Dez, who are the inspiration behind my business name and the reason I see family photography the way I do. Being a parent has made me hyper-aware of how quickly time moves. I know I won’t look back and care about whether my kids smiled perfectly for a photo, but I will always want to remember the way my daughter used to press her forehead against mine when she was feeling extra sweet. That’s why I don’t stress about stiff poses or forced grins—I want to capture the little moments that actually matter. When I’m not photographing families across Seattle and the Eastside, you’ll probably find me on a long walk, binge-watching a true crime or medical mystery show, or just embracing the beautiful chaos of life with kids.
